After I was given the initial project I then brainstormed ideas of fiction and the ideas I came up with are

Thriller
Comdey
Web series
Drama


After coming together we decided that the ones we had most in common were Thriller and Comedy.

Comedy
Comedy's are very popular, so we thought that it would be a good idea to make a comedy as many people are familiar with the way it works and everyone in the group understands the formula.

Thriller
We also agreed on thriller as it would be a fun thing to experiment with as well as the fact that it's also a genre that everyone is familiar with.


After dilberation between the both we decided to go with a thriller since there are so many comedy's already and it would also be to hard to stick to the formula such as a laughing track.
