Running order

Originally there were going to be two interviews however, once both interviews were filmed we realised we had too much content to put in a three minute documentary. Therefore we decided to use the interview which had the most detail which was alex gibbons.

This is the interview of Megan, which we then realised that the framing was wrong as it was too dark and the mic is in the shot meaning it was not useable. This was also our screen test for her.

Group Decision.

After consulting the group we narrowed it down to alcohol and inspirations.

Alcohol:
Initial Idea:
We could talk to people who drink and who don't drink to get both perspectives.
We could show people coming out of clubs
footage of the amount of alcohol in shops
shop keepers: how much they sell.

Research:

http://www.drinkaware.co.uk/
http://www.nhs.uk/Change4Life/Pages/understanding-alcohol.aspx
Conclusion: Too much to talk about in 3 minutes.

Inspire:
The influences of people and how it effects their lives.
Talk about different inspirations for example, film, books, music.
Cut aways- of people acting in their hobbies.

Research

After talking we chose inspiration because we felt it hasn't really been done before and it would be good to put our own mark on the subject rather than doing alcohol as it's been done many times and it wouldn't be very original.

Initial ideas.

At first I brainstormed ideas for the documentary on my own before I discussed it with my group.
The ideas I came up with are the following:

Student accommodation
Alcohol
Partying
University life
book to film adaptations
Beauty
Food habits
addictions.

Documentary brief.

The task we were given was to get into groups between 4-5 and create a documentary between 2-3 minutes long. We were told to use anything an inspiration.
